I am interested in connections between people; responsibility, interdependence, community and love. The tension and energy that keeps us doing what we do. What binds us together over time and distance. The quirks and idiosyncrasies that make us who we are.
Through my abstract work on paper I try to show the spark that passes between people, especially in the ordinary moments that form the tapestry of our lives. How can I capture a moment in time and the traces we leave on each other?
My work is heavily influenced by my role as Chairperson of a small charity. Advocating for people with a very rare syndrome and raising a child with additional needs have led me to see the world in a new way.

I am fascinated by how we, as members of the human family, depend on one another and why people devote their life's work to helping others. Through my artistic practice I am trying to make these invisible connections visible.

I live in Epping Forest with my family, the forest is my happy place and nature is the other source of my inspiration.
